Overall
Responsible for all phases of a product development project lifecycle, including project need analysis, research, specification, design, implementation, integration, testing, documentation, and support.
Specific Responsibilities
Complete Requirements analysis, system design and feedback to close on product specifications Prepare project schedule, resource requirements and plan for your deliverables Drive project to completion through all major development milestones Design, Implementation, Integration, and Testing of Network Management software Provide full engineering documentation of design and implementation Assist with Customer Service providing technical product support
Qualifications 4+ years of Java software design experience for Telecom Software Products Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent) Network communications software experience: Ethernet, MPLS, and IP an asset Experience with Java and J2EE Experience with Eclipse Experience with management interfaces SNMP, CLI and TL1. Experience developing EMS, NMS or OSS products. Well developed verbal and written communication skills GUI Design experience
