Account Executive/Account Manager, J0407-0652 Permanent TRM is looking for
an IT Professional Services and / or Solutions Sales Professional for the
Ottawa Region. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of successful
experience in selling IT solutions and consulting services at multiple
levels. Experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager with federal
government responsibility is preferred but not essential.
This position will require a solid independent contribution while working as
part of a client services team. You will develop business opportunities by
understanding client requirements, organizational objectives, TRM's services
and solutions as well as some familiarity with IT and in particular IT Risk
Management, Security and networking. This position will also require the
candidate to write structured proposals and use a variety of tools and
techniques to communicate with clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
.. Develop account strategies to effectively grow accounts by leveraging
existing business and opportunities and by gaining a better understanding of
client objectives and needs.
.. Conduct cold calls and qualify opportunities for Professional Services
.. Develop new opportunities while closing existing opportunities and
managing existing business
.. Work with other team members to qualify opportunities for solutions and
develop value propositions for client decision makers
.. Build relationships at all levels within client organizations
.. Close and manage opportunities through the project life cycle
The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills, experience
writing proposals, a professional image and be a team player.
