MANDATE:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the manager of adult client services leads the adult case management program and service resolution within SCS and the Ottawa DS community. The manager promotes and models the values of a person centred planning approach. The manager is accountable for providing performance management and clinical supervision of the adult client case management team.
Responsibilities:
Case management for adult clients. Develops service delivery models and processes, their associated policies and procedures to implement a person centred planning approach within SCS Service resolution for adult clients. Creates a collaborative climate with system and community partners and resources to provide for appropriate service resolution. Chairs and facilitates resolution mechanisms with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.
Qualifications:
Core competencies for this position are: Organizational skills, sense of innovation, ability to manage and measure work, process management, negotiating skills, strong client focus, ability to make quality decisions, drive for results, developing staff, ability to motivate others, sound interpersonal skills Formal education: This level of knowledge is typically acquired through the completion of a Masters degree in Social Work or other appropriate field and a minimum of seven years of experience in a related area, including preferably some supervisory experience, or equivalent. Knowledge of most commonly used business software is required. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: English and French written and spoken
