With his touching warmth and humour, Pierre Poulain will draw from his international experience as a photographer, a philosopher, and the director of a prominent humanitarian cultural association in Israel, to share a forward-looking perspective fostering inclusive cultures where "Diversity is our Strength".

Decision-makers, leaders and actors dealing with the challenges and opportunities of Ottawa-Gatineau’s cultural diversity are invited to envision a new, creative and mobilizing path forward.

photo exhibit, 6 to 7 p.m.:

The light is central to Pierre Poulain. Understood as the epitome of form and, therefore, each time he fires the shutter, Israeli photographer is set in what he calls the "geometry" of enlightenment; hence the title of the exhibition. The images displayed show twelve places in the world. France, Spain, Czech Republic, England, Israel, India, Switzerland, Brazil and Peru are some of the places portrayed by Poulain during his pilgrimage. ...more
